Movistar started in September with the deployment of its 5G network in Europe, which before the end of the year will be accessible to a large part of the country’s population. In addition, these months, the operator has left us other news, such as the end of stays in its prices. Now for Christmas they bring us good news for those with prepaid rates.
Movistar will double the amount of gigabytes for prepaid rates this Christmas. All those who have one of these operator rates will be able to take advantage of this new action, and thus enjoy double the concerts to use as they please.
Movistar Europe already has 5G: coverage, technology and more
Movistar Europe is today starting the deployment of its 5G network in Europe which will reach 75% of the country’s population in the next four months.
Movistar doubles the gigas for prepaid rates
From tomorrow, December 15th Movistar prepaid rates will be able to enjoy double concerts. This is a promotion that will last until January 31, so you’ll have a little over a month to use those gigabytes on top of your rate. A few gigs that you can use at your leisure, either by watching streaming content, video calling, or just browsing.
This promotion applies to both current customers benefiting from one of the operator’s prepaid rates and to these new users who contract a tariff
When you renew your rate or hire a new one, this promotion of double concerts is activated in the same. On January 31, without you having to do anything, Movistar will end it, so that you no longer consume or pay for that amount of gigabytes.
Along with this promotion, Movistar announced manual activation of a SIM by the user. This process will allow the user to activate said SIM card whenever and wherever they want. This means that said registration will not have to be done in store or at point of sale, which gives great freedom. You can read more about the conditions of this initiative in this link.
