When a beta version of a new operating system like iOS 16 is released, interest in installing it is high. Some users are tempted to do so, although its main obstacle is the battery. It’s not strange that the betas bring bugs under the arm that affect the battery and make it start up again alarmingly.
For this reason and after six days of constant use, I can already say how is the battery in ios 16 beta.
Battery in the iOS 16 beta: here’s how it behaves
With an iPhone 13 Pro Max since its launch, my usual use of the terminal is not excessive. Check Twitter, Email, Slack, Safari and an occasional photo is my daily use
It is from this perspective that I evaluated the impact of the battery of iOS 16. I know that this is one of those variables that affect many users. It’s true. No one likes running out of battery in the middle of the day, or having the iPhone get weirdly hot, causing it to pipeline system
From what I tested during these six days of use, not intense, but longer than usual, it is that the battery continues to last the same. on my iPhone, the health section ensures that your level is always at 100%so no worries there.
Now on to the important stuff: is there a battery impact with iOS 16? No way
iOS 16 in its first beta behaves rather well vis-à-vis the battery, without noticeable impact
Even though I use the iPhone more than usual, test the different new features of iOS 16, checking for changes and running tests, the battery showed no signs of early drain. Come on, the guy is holding up very well. Maybe it’s because I haven’t met any Thumbtack disturbing, of those you Rob autonomy in the blink of an eye.
If you are planning to install iOS 16 beta, the universal recommendation is to don’t do it on your main device. That said, and in any case, remember that this is a beta. Just because I didn’t notice a worse battery with iOS 16 doesn’t mean that’s always the case with all users.
