Nomad launched a new charging base compatible with the Qi2 standard and updated its base One Max 3:1 with fast charging for the Apple Watch.
Week of updates for Nomad, one of the brands we love the most when it comes to accessories for iPhone and Apple Watch. Concretely, it launched a new charging base compatible with the new Qi2 standard, the Nomad Stand, whose design we already knew but which now integrates the new Qi2 standard, which is essentially MagSafe brought to a universal standard. This new standard offers fast charging (15W) for all compatible devices, including the iPhone 15. This standard is no longer proprietary to Apple and therefore many Android phones should integrate it in the coming months. It is also compatible with any iPhone with a MagSafe system. Made of glass and metal, this base is available in black and white, and in the latter case the loading disc is the same color, unlike the previous model which had the white disc.
The other new thing is actually an update of the Base One Max 3:1, the original model of which we have already analyzed here (link) and whose only point that could be improved was the charging system for Apple Watch , which was not compatible with fast charging. This update fixes the same issue and now offers fast charging for iPhone thanks to MagSafe certification, and Fast charging for Apple Watch on all compatible models, starting with Apple Watch Series 7
