Beta iOS 16.2 for developers

After the release of iOS 16.1.1 a few days ago, Apple continues its rhythm of betas and prepares the release of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2. These new operating systems will include great innovations shown at WWDC22 but that fell outside of Apple’s plans for the initial release. In fact, the second beta of these new versions was released a week ago but a few hours ago Apple has launched the third beta version of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2.

Developers who have the Developer Profile installed on their devices can now update over Wi-Fi to check out what’s new in this third beta.

The third beta version of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 is now available

iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 introduce great news that Apple left in the dark with the launch of the initial version of its operating systems. These functions have already been tested by developers in the first betas of iOS 16 this summer and now with the first two betas of version 16.2 which have been with us for several weeks.

a few hours ago Apple has officially released the third developer beta which can be achieved by automatic download from device settings. This will be the case as long as the device has a developer profile installed that can be downloaded from the Developer Center, as updates to beta versions of all Apple operating systems have always done.

Among the main new features, already seen in the first betas, we find the app free form, Apple’s official collaborative work application with which several users can work on the same document, including notes, drawings, in the style of large applications such as Miró. Also included is the support for external displays the Stage Manager feature of iPadOS 16. This feature allows you to transfer part of the iPad screen with working apps to an external display.
