Samsung introduces Google Discover and Messages in One UI 3.1
One UI 3.1 is the new version of this interface from Samsung, which comes first with the Galaxy S21. There are some changes to the interface and functions, but two Google apps are taking center stage in this new version of the brand’s interface. Google Discover and Google Messages are installed by default.
The left panel of the Samsung mobile desktop was normally occupied by the brand’s own feed: Samsung Daily, which became Free UI in the previous version of the brand’s interface (3.0). Although there have been rumors for weeks on the introduction of Google Discover in this new version, something that becomes official in these new Galaxy S21.
Too Google Messages is installed natively on phones with One UI 3.1 now. The Google app is installed, although that doesn’t mean Samsung’s own app, which also supports RCS, has been removed. Both are available on phones, allowing the user to choose which app they want to use.
Samsung and Google continue to strengthen their ties and collaborate more and more, as is now clear with the launch of these Galaxy S21s with One UI 3.1 as the interface.
