A silo to survive
Writer Hugh Howey rose to fame for ‘Mirage’, a self-published short story on Amazon. Over the years, the author continued to flesh out his original work with sequels and apocryphal tales and established himself as one of Now Yok Times best-selling authors for several years. Currently, the film rights to “Silo” are owned by 20th Century Fox.
As for the series in question, the screenwriter and main showrunner is none other than Graham Yost (‘Band of Brothers’, ‘Justified’) and presents the nominee for Oscar Morten Tyldum (“Defending Jacob”, “The Imitation Game”) as director of the first three episodes.
