You might know Project CARS as that racing title on desktop consoles of which we’ve seen a second edition, a third and now it’s cellphones. The developer GAMEVIL is already preparing the GO version of its popular racing game and opened pre-registration on Google Play.
With the desktop version of Project CARS we are faced with a simulator, a game focused on realistic driving, something that changes in the version that we will see on mobile phones. In fact, the surname “Go” suggests that we will face a lighter match
Speed racing on mobile
With a pre-registration period already open, this CARS GO project aims to be more of an arcade game where we won’t have as much control over the vehicle. In fact, the website doesn’t offer much more information than what we’re going to find beyond references to speed.
A development that no longer passes the hand of the company Slightly Mad Studios, in charge of the original Project CARS and which now depends on GAMEVIL and in which for the moment It looks like we’re going to limit ourselves to doing combos and have basic vehicle control. At least in the game, no direction indicator appears.
The CARS GO project has been in development for many months and in fact in European countries you can already test the beta version. To become a beta tester you just have to click on this link and you can download the version of the game to fix the various bugs that may still be present.
Remember that launching a light title or with arcade touches of another already present on desktop consoles is not something new. Microsoft has already tried it with a Forza Street which took advantage of the Forza surname.
