Realme does not cease its efforts to reign over the range of the cheapest mobiles. Concretely, it is its “C” range which is intended for this, as we have already seen this year with the Realme C55 or the Realme C53. Now, without following a clear numerical order, what arrives is the Realme C51.
In fact, this ‘C51’ is very similar to the ‘C53’, but without losing this characteristic of being a mobile adapted to tight budgets or profiles who don’t necessarily want to spend a lot on a smartphone. Lots of battery and light software are its strengths.

A design that seems familiar to us and with a 90 Hz panel
The bone straight edges It’s something that, while not exclusive to Realme in any way, is increasingly common in its budget ranges and the Realme C51 is no exception. It is on these sides that it includes its buttons, more precisely on the right side if we look at it in front of the screen, having both the lock button/fingerprint sensor and the volume up and down button.
Apart from this hallmark, its almost 17 centimeters high or 7 and a half centimeters wide stand out, showing signs of being a robust mobile, although not excessively heavy at 186 grams. And to all this with a back of Polycarbonate with a certain shiny effect in the upper part, in which its two camera modules and the flash stand out.
On the front we find an LCD panel as a clear protagonist with 6.7 inches diagonal and somewhat pronounced frames that make the screen occupy “only” 90.3% of the facade. Its 90 Hz refresh is a sign that this feature is becoming more and more democratized and affects all ranges. Of course, on paper, its low peak brightness of 560 nits doesn’t sound so positive.
Unisoc driving a terminal that does not neglect its low profile
As the brain of this terminal we find a Unisoc T612. This is a microprocessor suitable for inexpensive mobiles And that we have already seen in low ranges of Realme like the aforementioned Realme C53 or the Realme C30. Chip a bit tight, but more than sufficient in the daily tasks of these devices, accompanied in this case by 4 GB of RAM and one 64 GB of storage.
The key to good performance should be in your lightweight software based on 13GB Android, albeit with its own Realme UI layer. It’s basically Android 13, but with some limitations that keep the system running smoothly.
Until 5000mAh battery Inside we find what seems to be more than enough capacity to enjoy good autonomy during a day of intensive use. Of course, the fast charging features are not specified, which suggests that it could be limited to a power of 10 W.
There’s no big fanfare when it comes to the cameras. On the front, a 8 megapixel selfie this is what is generally found in these ranges. For the back, a 50 megapixel main accompanied by a 3 megapixel depth sensor which would serve to enhance images taken in portrait mode.
Realme C51 versions and prices
At the moment, this terminal is on sale in Taiwan. In this territory, it is sold in black or blue color. While waiting to see when it will eventually arrive in other countries like Europe (if it does), we see that it responds more than to that of being an economic terminal.
- Realme C51 4+64 GB: 3,990 new Taiwan dollars (about 114.28 dollars to change)
