Realme wants to be the flag bearer in Android territory by incorporating the magnetic wireless charging technology that we saw implemented in the iPhone 12 last year under the name MagSafe.
First of all, this technology was registered under the name of MagDart and now, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, confirmed the launch of the new Realme Flash, which will become the first Android phone to incorporate this technology.
Up to 15W charging and built-in fan to prevent overheating
A recent report published by GSMArena shows us that the Realme Flash will be the first phone from the Chinese firm to integrate the so-called MagDart technology. This it would work very similar to Apple’s Magsafe, by mounting a circular coil on the back of the telephone which would facilitate its operation.
The MagDart will be a magnetic accessory that will be placed on the back of our smartphone in a magnetic way, which Supports charging speeds of up to 15W and incorporates a small fan as heat dissipation to avoid problems related to overheating of the device.
In the first leaked images of this downloader, we can see that will incorporate a USB Type-C connection to perform charging, and displays a fairly large design, far from the minimalism that we have seen with the Apple option.
On the other hand, if we talk about the phone itself, everything indicates that the new Realme Flash will be a high-end phone, integrating the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with versions that will reach 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
At this time, Realme has not confirmed the official launch date for the phone but, as teasers about it gain momentum, It wouldn’t be surprising if we didn’t have to wait too long to find out what the company has in store for its new flagship.
