In the month of December the Redmi Note 12 Pro was presented in China, one of those that will be part of this series that will finally be presented worldwide March 23.

Redmi Note 12

We start first with the Redmi Note 12 and 12 5G to find a noticeable difference. It’s in the chip, since the 5G model has a Snapragon 4 Gen 1 chip without having the Qualcomm SoC on hand, which will be in the bowels of the 4G model. RAM and internal memory are the same with 4 + 128 GB.

However, they share many specs such as the 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and cameras.

In the photographic section of the main camera there is a subtle difference, the Redmi Note 12 remains at 48MP while the 5G model reaches 50MP. The ultra wide angle and the macro sensor are the same in both with 8 Mpx for the first and 2 Mpx for the second. In the front camera they go to the same side with a 13 Mpx.

Other details of these two models are their side fingerprint sensor, IP53 resistance, face unlock and Bluetooth 5.0 for the 4G model and 5.1 for the 5G model. Of course, only the Redmi Note 12 5G has Dual SIM.

Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G

Of all the four models, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is the one that arouses the most interest simply for a good reason: it has a 200 MP main camera. The one that is not present in the Redmi Note 12 Pro which remains at 50 Mpx. The rest of the cameras are 8MP for ultra wide angle and 2MP for macro. On the front they play in the same league with a 16 Mpx.

Starting from this base, we can move on to the same chip that both use: the MediaTek Dimensity 1080. There is a difference in RAM so that the Pro+ model reaches 8 GB and the other remains at 6 GB. The same occurs with the internal which remains at 256 and 128 GB respectively.

On screen they share the same specs for a 6.67″ AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio. differ by the fast charge with 120 W for the Pro + and 67W for the other model.

These two models also have a side fingerprint sensor and face unlock, although in connectivity they reach WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and dual 5G support. IP53 like the rest and Android 13 based on MIUI 14 to finish defining them.

Finally, you have to take a look at the weight of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with its 208.4 g. unlike the other three models which are between 183 and 189 g. A difference that also marks what exists in the specifications.
