The Elec states that the punch-hole on the screen for the front camera would remain in the iPhone 16 Pro, but the overall viewing area and immersive feel will be improved. On the other hand, it seems that the dynamic island and what other components occupy that now “removes” part of the screen, will remain the same from iPhone 14 Pro to iPhone 15 Pro later this year, since the technology to implement them under the screen with the quality desired by Apple is not yet 100% ready.
