Safest, Most Private Calendar Comes to Android

The calendar is one of the essential tools in Europe to maintain a good organization in our work. While we often use the free tools available by default on our phone, the amount of personal information in these calendars is often underestimated.

Today we know of a new calendar app which already had its own web version, and which is starting to arrive on Android in its first beta. This calendar stands out for its maximum security and privacy, and given the business behind it, it’s worth taking a look at.

Proton Calendar Comes To Android To Be The Most Secure Calendar

The calendar is one of the tools for storing more personal information. Important dates such as birthdays or anniversaries, information about our personal projects and much more. Depending on our use of the calendar, it may be worth betting on which tools bet on privacy the most.

Our calendar needs to be secure and private, with no one able to spy on or take our information to sell it, or at least that’s the vision of the Proton team. The creators of Proton VPN and Proton Mail have created a calendar that stands out for its high security standards, offering a calendar with end-to-end encryption.

Although this calendar was already available since 2019 as a web app, the company has just released its first version of the mobile app, initially available for Android in beta form (iOS users will have to wait), an app that with a great design and functionality.

Proton Calendar is a tool which, although it is offered for free, is not free for everyone, as it requires having a paid Proton VPN or Proton Mail account to be able to access this calendar. If you have already paid for any of these services, we recommend that you try it.
