Samsung has Updated SmartThings with a new interface to give it a facelift and so we are more aware that in the quick access over a Samsung mobile, we have a service to take into account.
The objective of this new interface, in addition to the generation of a new experience user, is to improve every smart device that we have connected under the same WiFi network in our house.

This new interface puts every thing in place with a cleaner visual experience and puts the most important SmartThings features in their place.

In fact, Samsung has divided the app into five categories: favorites, devices, life, automation and menu.
First we have favorites, a tab that serves as the primary “home” for all the services, devices, smart bulbs and more that we have connected; while devices, emphasizes advanced control and the possibility of adding a new product; Yes automations, to program and configure devices according to a series of guidelines.
Regarding automation, we have already had excellent news with a new module called Routines + from Good Lock. The other two categories are lifetime, to teach us how to use our gadgets, and menu to hide notifications and more.
An ideal time for this update, since everything related to connected objects in the house is booming because of it Material protocol which Google does nothing about gave details of how it works in Nest and Android.
The interesting thing about this new version is that it comes in the heat of a recent announcement to its application in Windows in order to provide a similar experience of the Galaxy Book or other Windows PC.
The update is already available for android and it’s even coming soon to iOS. A Samsung which will address the new Matter protocol which will unify all manufacturers.
