Samsung has a secret plan to try and beat Apple in the United States.
Apple and Samsung have a historic rivalry in the smartphone market, sharing a large chunk of sales and revenue. However, Samsung never managed to beat Apple in the United States, and now his secret plan to achieve it has been revealed.

As reported by the Herald of Korea the 40 executives have agreed a plan summarized by the acronym “Tiger”. Here are the phrases from Samsung’s “Tiger” plan to beat Apple:
- “Tstreet number one in all categories ” – “True number one in all categories”
- “Iimprove the flagship market share ” – “Improve the high-end market share “
- “Reduce the”gap between Apple “ – “Bridging the gap with Apple”
- “To expand the presence of products such as wireless headphones “ – “Develop the presence of products such as earphones”
- “Aim for a Rrecord year “ – “Aim for a record year”
the 2022 is the year of the Water Tiger, which makes it a very well chosen word by Samsung executives. As can be seen, they want to improve the share of the highest smartphone ranges, where Apple competes and dominates, as well as improve in markets such as smart headphones, where AirPods are also leaders.
Samsung has historically dominated in the lower and middle ranges of the smartphone market, however Chinese brands like Xiaomi are taking over most of this market. Samsung’s plan seems to be not to fight in this market segment, and to focus more on the high end where it rivals Apple, we’ll see how the game comes out.
