Any user who has been using Instagram for several years and now appears to be a social media site turned into a showcase for brands and influencers. The company has long been able to sell products directly from the platform, without having to process eCommerce or handle orders in a complex way.
You can now shop without leaving Instagram
Instagram activates the purchase without leav ing its system by adding the option to enter a credit card. Users have already accepted it.
But today the company has gone one step further, in partnership with the Los Angeles-based grocery platform to make it happen order specific dishes directly on Instagram stories.
Shopping for food on Instagram is already possible
Due to the current state of detention in certain places in the United States, some food delivery services have sought to move forward. It is a form of ChowNow, a platform that operates in Los Angeles and has decided to partner with Instagram to create an it has a sticker which can be used in news to order direct food.
The idea is to use restaurants that have a home delivery service, be able to upload news to their Instagram profiles or create ads for customers to purchase directly from the ChowNow website.
An idea that should be global
Globally, it is evident how few restaurants that continue to function are designed for domestic help, as they are not allowed to open in many countries on many continents. The launch of an Instagram-tested bundle in Los Angeles will probably increase the number of orders and reduce the damage caused by the coronavirus.
The head of ChowNow commented on a new sticker song in the news that took them between two and three weeks, so it's not a hint that many platforms of this type, or restaurants and chains, can partner with Instagram to achieve something like this.
