The social network has announced some rather interesting changes in reference to private messages, and the first of them is the inclusion of a quick access to your nearby friends when you hold the button to send a message as a private message.

Another new feature is the ability to respond to chats as they come to you while you are in other sections of the application, and, if you go to the private messages section, you will also be able to see online contacts, which will appear at the top.

The company also announced the integration it will have with Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify to be able send a 30 second preview of any song to your friends to share it, and it can be heard directly from the chat.

Like other platforms, if you write a message with “@silent”, the message will be sent silently so as not to disturb your contacts at night, for example. Hopefully there will be another formula to indicate it, but in Spanish.

Ultimately, some lo-fi themes are included for chats, as well as the possibility of creating surveys to make group decisions in a much easier and more comfortable way.
