A few days ago, Oppo presented its new folding, the Oppo Find N5, which for the moment is The thinnest type model in the world. Now, this terminal has been seen in the MWC which takes place in Europe both by the company and by Qualcomm, which has it as one of its star models by integrating the Snapdragon 8 elite.
This mobile He had to be sold worldwideOr at least in the countries where Oppo has a presence, but ultimately he did in China and on selected markets like Singapore. It seems that Oppo continues to bet on the high range and not for the Premium range or the folding of European markets.

The problem is that this year, there will be no version of this OnePlus mobile, as we have seen on other occasions, which has enabled it to reach other markets. Sales may not have been good enough to justify such logistics.
Compact and very fine
Although we were not able to try it thoroughly, we were able to spend a few hours with this mobile, take it, test it and experience with it. It is striking that, despite being folding, by hand, it looks like a normal mobile, for good and bad. The main PEGAS of this type of OPPO mobiles resolved them.
It is not heavier than a high mobile, such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max or the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and is not thicker or more. But that doesn't mean you have no problem. In fact, one of those of the Ultra S24 replicas: his songs.

This mobile has two rounded corners, those on the right and two rectangular, those on the left. This supposes Damage to those on the left, because the lower corner on this side is nailed to the palmwhich is the same that went to the top of the 2024 Samsung beach. In addition, The round camera module occupies a lot of space And, at the end, it ends easily by unconsciously putting the fingers.
Once this mobile is open, it becomes A kind of extraordinarily beautiful tablet. And it seems that it is no longer because of a logical physical limitation: the USB-C port. Its use means that the song of this model can be more limited.

Have an improvement margin as we have seen, Oppo has shown that its engineering is ahead of many competitorsAnd it is a shame that we do not have access to this terminal in all the countries where the brand operates. In addition, The wrinkle on the central screen does not show excessAlthough there is also no enormous difference with regard to what is observed in the previous folding, and we have a water resistance to IPX9.
Maximum power
As expected, Oppo launched the rest with the screen, with an interior panel of 8.12 inch with an LTPO OLED technology (1 to 120 Hz) and an FHD + resolution and with a maximum brightness of 2,100 nits. The outdoor screen has the same characteristics but with a size of 6.62 inches and a maximum shine of 2,450 nits. We could not try them outside, but with these figures, there should be no problems.

Snapdragon 8 Elite allows you to use advanced functions on mobileWithout having to use AI, and also makes efficiency shots. As if that were not enough, it happens with 512 GB of internal memory and with 16 GB of RAM, figures from a high range like this.
The cameras are configured in a tripe sensor Collaboration with Hasselblad. The main camera uses a 50 Mpx lyt-700 sensor, the 3X optical zoom is a periscopic camera of 50 mpx and The wide angle is the one that fell furtherwith only 8 MPX. It does not reach the height of what is observed in models such as the Oppo Find X8 Pro which can be bought in Europe.
Excellent software
Although the OPPO equipment attracts a lot of attention, especially in this iteration, which emerges the maximum of this mobile is the interface. Oppo managed to create A form of manipulation for this type of mobile that increases productivity. And that Samsung did not fall asleep in laurels.
This terminal is delivered with Android 15 y OS color 15Although the company has given no figures in terms of years of updates. In the West, this seems to be a more important problem than in the West.

Of course, the improvements observed in the previous models were maintained, adding others. We can open applications on the full screen of two by two, even if it leaves some stripes from top to bottom. We can move between Windows with gestures, customize the direct access bar …
I buy it?
The answer to this question depends on the question of whether Oppo puts this mobile in our country or not, because it is the key. The only important paste of this mobile is that the photographic section is not up to all its camerasAnd we point directly to the wide angle. It is not a receipt that is of this quality in a terminal that is not cheaply.

Again, It's an impressive mobileAnd I hope that next year, they correct the few things to correct and that OnePlus takes it to international markets. Or that Samsung takes note and starts to evolve your fold to something more similar to that.
