When we leave our iPhone with the screen facing down on a flat surface or cover its front side with some kind of blanket, the system understands that we don’t want it to respond to “Hey Siri”. It’s a performance that’s meant to behave like this, but there will be some cases where we want Siri to answer us at any time
Hi Siri, HEY SIRI, HEY SIRIII !!
Who hasn’t arrived? Sometimes we call our favorite assistant without any response, after raising our voice and repeating the call several times we realize we just left our iPhone upside down, so Siri won’t answer us. The same happens with some cases that cover the entire screen of the phone, the function of contacting our assistant without having to touch the iPhone disappears.
Fortunately, there is a setting with which we can ask Siri to response ignoring screen noise detection. The steps are as follows:
- We open the app Settings on our iPhone or iPad.
- We entered Accessibility.
- We played on Siri.
- We activate Always allow waking up when you hear “Hey Siri”.
It’s simple. Now on our iPhone will respond regardless of whether the screen is covered or not
In any case, beyond accidental activations, it is clear that the possibility of speaking to our assistant whenever possible is interesting. Mainly based on the third-party cases we were able to place on our iPhone.
