Share notes on iPhone, iPad and Mac It is an increasingly common function. And now that Notes in iOS 15 comes with several improvements like mentions, collaborating with them is even easier. If you still don’t know this feature, it’s time to see how.
Mention your colleagues in Notes on iPhone
First, to be able to mention someone in a note, you will need a shared note
Just open a new note and at the top, click on the dots. There you will see the option to share a note, where when you tap on it you will see the different ways to do so. Choose the recipient and wait for them to accept the invitation.
From then on, any edits you make between the two of you (or any users you share the note with) will be saved. To better organize the work, Apple created endorsements. Whenever you have someone invited or are in such a note, you can mention them to draw their attention to any point in the note.
Do the following: Place the pointer where you want this person to see the comment. You write the letter “@” and automatically you will see a suggestion with the people who collaborate on this note. Click on one of them and you will receive a notification on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
When you reopen the note, you will see the recent activity on a bottom tab. If you unfold it, you will see the mention and the place where it was made. It’s a phenomenal collaboration tool.
