As announced on the company’s blog, they want the new interface to make it easier and more intuitive for us to find the audio we “love”. The new changes we will find are:

  • Travel back in time
: Rediscover lost gems in your listening history with a new “Recently Played” section, where users can go back in time and browse up to three months of playing history. Premium and Free users worldwide will be able to browse recently played individual tracks and episodes, as well as the playlists, albums and shows from which they were played.
  • Access new unfinished podcasts– Premium users can see relevant new podcast episodes right in the new home screen. New episodes will be marked with a blue dot, and episodes that have already started will display a progress bar that will indicate what we are missing to complete the audio.
  • Discover more music– Premium users won’t miss any tracks from the artists they love. Now you will see a new widget within the app at the top of the home screen dedicated to discovery-oriented recommendations personalized to our liking.

A remodeling that will undoubtedly facilitate our passage in the Spotify application. So now you know, if you are Spotify users, stay tuned because in the next few days you will see these changes on the home screen of your iOS app. And you, Do you prefer Spotify or Apple Music?
