Apple surprised us all with a new external display called the Studio Display.
One of the surprises of the Apple event is the new external display called Studio Display. A perfect complement to the new Mac Studio which returns a device almost forgotten by Apple to its catalog. Few know it but about ten years ago Apple had several external monitors and it seems that after the Pro Display XRD and this new Studio Display they are starting to recover this type of device.
Studio Display: Technical Specifications
The new Studio Display arrives loaded with technology, including the A13 Bionic chip used by iPhones. We have a stand that lets you tilt it and is VESA mount compatible.
It is designed in aluminum, the glass can be chosen with nanotexturized glass and it has really thin edges. At the top is a 12-megapixel camera, the same as the iPad as it supports center framing.
Screen size and resolution
We have a screen with a panel 27 inches with 5K resolution (1120 by 2880 at 218 pixels per inch). The panel has a peak brightness of 600 nits, support for 1 billion colors, a wide P3 color gamut, and True Tone technology like that found in the iPhone or iPad.

Connections
The Studio Display has 3 USB-C ports for connecting peripherals, hard drives, and networks, and **a Thunderbolt**3 (USB-C) port perfect for connecting a Mac or other device.

We have a system consisting of 6 speakers. These are speakers compatible with Apple Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos sound. Plus, we have studio-grade built-in microphones. Moreover, it supports “Hey Siri”.
