The constant updates of Telegram they are a tradition in instant messaging application. However, the arrival of new WhatsApp subscribers may be the cause of a set of new features that have been released this week.
Updates, now available in Telegram version 7.5 include functions of automatic elimination, widgets on the home screen and expiring invitation links.

Delete messages

It is a function in cats of all kinds. From this update, Telegram can delete messages from all participants in a conversation whenever they want, without leaving a trace.
Users can set a self-destruct message timer in secret chats, by setting time periods 24 hours or 7 days, which count after sending messages.
Previous messages will remain in the chat history. Unlike secret cats, the countdown begins when messages are sent and unread.
This function can be activated in iOS, by clicking on a message, and accessing the menu Select> Empty chat (top left corner)> Turn on automatic deletion.

The Telegram widget allows you to create quick access to your most important chats. The chat widget show a preview of recent messageswhile the shortcut widget only displays names and profile photos.
Telegram notes that on iOS widgets only get updated data occasionally and cannot be extended, due to system limitations.
To add a widget, press and hold on your home screen, then tap the + sign in iOS and search for Telegram.
Expiring invitation links

Invitations seem to be the novelty of today, as evidenced by the social network of the moment, Clubhouse. And although with several differences, Telegram updated theirs.
Invitation links are a quick and easy way to add one or a million people to groups and channels. In addition to the main invite link, owners and administrators can now create additional links of limited duration, the number of uses or both alternatives.
