The brand said that in the near future cars will be software updated to include Tesla Vision for these functions.
Tesla Vision arrives in Europe
Yesterday I was at one of the brand’s dealerships to ask questions and test the Tesla Model Y (as I told you in some videos, I’m going to buy a second electric car, and this is the one of the options).
One of my doubts concerned Tesla Vision, the system supposed to replace ultrasonic sensors.
The Tesla manager confirmed to me that the brand had given the green light to the software update that would provide this function to cars sold in 2023 in March this year.
Also, he told me that anyone who orders a Tesla starting today will have Tesla Vision when they leave the dealership.
This software would make it possible to measure the distance of the car to other objects that surround it, it would display said distance on the screen and, in addition, it would emit audible warnings so that the driver knows it. Come on, it would work the same as current parking sensors.
Hopefully there is no delay, but even if there was, it seems certain that in a few weeks users of Tesla cars without parking sensors in Europe will be able to use Tesla Vision, at least those who have purchased the car in 2023. doubt when the update will reach those who bought it in the last months of 2022.
