It's not the only company looking for a way to provide the best possible experience in these queries that many users prefer to ask through natural conversation with generative artificial intelligence. OpenAI or Perplexity are trying to reinvent the wheel in a segment that Google has dominated without much competition for many years.

You now add a major improvement to the way a button that activates AI mode in searches. Which means that when you write the query and press this button, a somewhat special search will be carried out receiving responses from artificial intelligence to simplify the whole process and thus have a more natural interaction with Google.

In Android Authority it was possible to activate the new AI mode interface from Google for search via version 15.4940 of the beta version of the application. And this new button is important enough to be located just to the left below the search bar.

It appears with the search icon plus this little star and a colored outline that represents the iconic colors of the logo from the tech giant. And it practically becomes the main protagonist of the Google search engine homepage through the mobile application, as the shared images clearly show.

But Google not only placed this button for AI searches on the homepage, but also also included it in the widget which is usually kept on the mobile to search immediately. And if it's important, you can review how it becomes a circular button with the same magnifying glass icon and the little star to differentiate itself perfectly in the search bar.

When you tap it from the widget, it opens the search tab in the Google app, although it is supposed to directly open the AI ​​mode to make a query when the tech giant finishes development and it appears in the final version version of the application on mobiles.
