The end of the year for the world of leaks and rumors around Apple brings endless news. We've been hearing for months that those in Cupertino are working on new smart products focused on homes. In fact, a device with an articulating arm and an additional screen is expected to be released next year. This device is said to have a new operating system, homeOS, which is circulating in beta operating system code. A new leak indicates that 3rd generation HomePod could feature a 6-7 inch OLED screen and could be launched in the second half of 2025.
A 6 to 7-inch OLED screen for Apple's next HomePod
The Korean digital media SE Daily was responsible for launching the news: the next generation of Apple HomePod could integrate an OLED screen to give more versatility to a product that has been around for several years without incorporating virtually any new features. It would undoubtedly be another bet from Apple to the world of home automation and smart home development.

Apple could use the manufacturer Tainma as a supplier of 6-7 inch OLED panels this would take up a place on the HomePod, probably on the side or top, which would provide more information and for the user to interact with.
Other leakers had already played with this idea but did not integrate a screen with OLED technology but indicated it as LCD technology. SE Daily assures that More than 500,000 HomePods could be manufactured and sold from the second half of 2025. In the meantime, we can't forget that the HomePod is nothing more than a smart speaker connected to Siri. However, the integration of a screen may perhaps change the orientation that Apple traditionally gives to this device.
