The external screen of the two previous Z Flips was really used to inform about certain aspects of the foldable mobile such as notifications, weather or music widgets and some other very simple functions.
With the arrival of the folding competition, Samsung is putting the batteries in to give the Galaxy Z Flip 5 a larger screen and a bolder design, but also features so we don’t even need to go to the intern for some needs.

And if the design in the form of an external tab is quite surprising, it will have a use, since as we can see in the two images filtered by Ice Universe of your Twitter accountthe wider space in the lower part will accommodate some icons for settings, calls, messages or even the weather.
A series of widgets also appear which reflect that this screen is going to take on more prominence than it was in the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Flip 4. Ice Universe also shares its size with 3.4″, resolution of 720 x 748 pixels and 305 ppi, something we already knew for a few months.

Ese espacio de la pestaña en la exterior se supone que va a poder ser personalizado con las apps que queramos. Desconocemos la cantidad de apps, pero se puede entender que serán limitadas a las funciones posibles que se puedan dar en esta pantalla.
Todo dependerá de Samsung y su capacidad para ofrecer una experiencia de usuario netamente superior a la de sus predecesores y así acercarse a la del mismo OPPO Find N2 Flip, un plegable que ha demostrado gran valía por esto mismo y por su gran tamaño en la externa.
