The end of childhood in Las Charlas de Applesfera

Applesfera, Charlas, Childhood, las

With the end of 2021, Apple is closing sthe first ten years without the genius of Steve Jobs– A few difficult years that the team of Tim Cook solved by making the company one of the most valued in the world. Times change and products change, and in this episode Pedro Aznar, Javier Lacort and Eduardo Archanco review the last year.

2021, a complicated year in which Apple emerges as the winner

HomePod

2021 has started relatively quietly. But within months, Apple announced that it was stopping manufacturing of the original HomePod, to focus on the HomePod mini. The company pointed out its technology as a bet for the future, which implies that the large model must have encountered a stumbling block. Is it due to a sales or cost problem?

This year also marked the 20th anniversary of Mac OS X. The operating system that brought Apple back to the cutting edge of technology and allowed to build its ecosystem. 20 years that have passed.

We also have room to talk about one of Javier Lacort’s exclusives. And it is that in June Apple launched the new hi-fi music format with integrated Dolby Atmos, all this for the same monthly plan. A marked increase in Apple’s bet against other streaming companies, since this superior audio quality has (or had to) be paid for on Spotify and Tidal.
