In fairs such as MWC or these, we generally see bizarre prototypes and a gadget of the arena twelve months ago, The maximum expression of minimalist mobiles.
But a year and a few delays later, The first Android mobile with electronic ink screen and Qwerty It has already started to be distributed between those who bought it first, although it can always be acquired with a launch offer (delivery scheduled for March). Of course, we have already planned something: digital disconnection does not go out cheap, judging by the price of the device.
The minimal phone is the ideal candidate for disconnection without becoming a stupid phone
Because a thing is to have a minimalist launcher in your Android and another is Kindle and Blackberry hybrid species. With a wide but stylized body with a fairly compact keyboard in its lower area, it has a monochromatic electronic ink panel with a huge resolution of 600 x 800 which helps to alleviate visual fatigue.
But that the electronic screen is not mistaken: we do not face a “stupid phone” to the old woman for calls and little more but that This mobile performs Android 14 And it has “essential” applications As WhatsApp for messaging, Gmail and Outlook for mail, Spotify music, purchases on Amazon, transfers in Uber and even Google Maps Maps.
So essentially The big resignation is social networks and gamesIt would be a nonsense before basic equipment (mounting in Helium G99 with 6 GB of basic RAM) and a slow and monochrome screen, which would rest considerably for algorithm and the bombing of social networks. There is no shortage of a calendar application, another of notes, a calculator, task management, an electronic book reader that comes to a thousand wonders on this screen and few others, all available in his store limited applications.
We face A basic phone in many aspectsLike its 15 megapixel camera or its connectivity limited to 4G, but this hides pleasant surprises for the day by day such as payments using NFC, a fingerprint reader, a wireless load, a double Simulation, headphones and even the possibility of expanding its storage as the android of a lifetime.
Minimal phone He is not the only manufacturer to bet on the paper style screenSince the TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5 also does but differently: the experience is that of a normal and current Android mobile, although with an activation option of a monochromatic mode similar to ink screens interesting to read, But he does not have a physical keyboard and does not make this predisposition to digital disconnection.
If you dare to buy a minimal phoneIts price is $ 399 with shipping worldwide, with a $ 100 discount compared to its PVP.
