The iPhone 16 Pro screen will be bigger and brighter

iPhone 15 Pro Max

Upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max could debut Samsung’s latest generation screensM14 OLED panels, brighter and larger than current models.

The next iPhone 16 will bring few changes at the hardware level compared to the current models. They should maintain the same design and only incorporate a few modifications. The processor will be new, that’s for sure, and there will be some minor changes in the battery and camera. There has been talk of the possibility that this year the new haptic buttons that were talked about so much last year and that did not reach the iPhone of that year will be incorporated. And today we receive a new rumor that seems to confirm others already published some time ago: The new screen will be bigger and brighter

when using the new Samsung panels.

Apple could use Samsung’s M14 panels that use cutting-edge technology. The most important improvement would be the higher brightness, which could reach up to 1200 nits compared to the current 1000 nits of the Pro models of the iPhone 15. This brightness would be in normal mode, since in the case of HDR content, the current models can reach up to 1600 nits, which would remain unchanged with the new screens. Another part of the rumor “confirms” something we already talked about some time ago: the screens of the new iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will be larger. The iPhone 16 Pro would have a 6.3-inch screen (compared to the 6.1″ of the current model) and the Pro Max model would go up to 6.9 inches (compared to the 6.69″ of the 15 Pro Max)

The increase in size should be achieved by reducing the bezels around the screen, without having to increase the overall size of the device.
