There’s very little left before we can see the next generation of Galaxy phones in person; Its presentation should take place next January, with a possible launch for February. It is therefore not surprising that the pace of leaks has accelerated and precise details are already starting to be published.
The latest leak is perhaps the most comprehensive we’ve seen, as it is a real photo of Galaxy S25 Ultra; or rather a model or test prototype, created to finalize the design of the device before its mass production. So this is the best way to know what Samsung’s next flagship mobile phone will look like, at least until we can see it in person.
The photos, published by @Jukanlosreve and @OnLeaks on the social network X, present the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is the model that will present the most differences compared to the last generation; In theory, the aim of the changes is to make it more similar to the Galaxy Note, of which it is the spiritual successor. Until now, Samsung’s Ultra models have differed greatly from the more basic models, with a more rectangular design and straighter corners.
The first images of the device reveal that the design philosophy will be more similar to the rest of Samsung phonesbut maintaining its own style. The most notable changes concern the corners, which are more rounded; What the Galaxy S25 Ultra will lose in originality, it will probably gain in ergonomics and comfort.
In addition, although the edges will be flat like the rest of the range, in the photos you can see some curvature at the edges this will make the mobile more pleasant in the hand, without losing the “premium” design that characterizes Samsung mobiles.
For the rest, perhaps the most remarkable thing is what hasn’t changed: it’s still an Ultra and recognizable at a glance, retaining the same design in all cameras. At this point it is not yet entirely clear whether we will see any improvements in the sensors, but from the images we can judge that if there are, they will not be noticeable in the size of the lenses and the camera network.
Finally, the photos show two possible colors for the device: black and white. Although we have no doubt that these colors will be available, we must take into account that the final result will possibly differ from that shown in the images, and that the colors in these mockups are not the final colors.
