After the launch of the iPhone 16 events last week last week, Apple's hardware output program is the MacBook Air. Mark Gurman de Bloomberg reports that Apple “is preparing” for a walk out of the M4 MacBook Air M4. And in case you have not noticed, March is only a week old.
Gurman reports that the current inventory of the M3 MacBook Air is “drawn” to make room for upgrading. It does not provide a specific release date, but perhaps the current Apple higher education promotion offers in 2025 in Australia and other regions offers an index. The promotion, which includes the M3 MacBook Air, ends on March 13. It is therefore likely that Apple will launch the M4 MacBook Air after the end of this return to school promotion.
This puts the most likely launch of the MacBook Air during the week of March 17 or March 24.
Previous reports had said that the new MacBook Air will offer a version of the M4 chip, which was introduced in November with the 14 -inch MacBook Pro. The current entry -level macBook Air has 2 less graphic cores (8 against 10) than high -end models, it is therefore likely that Apple will continue this trend.
Another major upgrade that could find its way on the M4 MacBook Air is a 12MP centering camera, replacing the current 1080p, which made its debut with the M4 MacBook Pro. Apple also upgraded the M3 MacBook Air to start with 16 GB of RAM in October from last year. We do not expect Apple to increase prices with the M4 MacBook Air, which should continue to start at $ 1,099.
While the M3 chip is an excellent flea, behind the scenes, it created an enigma for Apple. Its production process is more expensive than that of the M4, so Apple wants to leave the M3. This could mean that Apple will keep the M2 MacBook Air as its most affordable laptop – its M2 chip is older, but still offers enough people for most people. Apple also kept the M1 MacBook Air for two generations.
