Benefits
When we talk about charging base, we usually think of a technological product that looks like this, but some brands try to give a special touch to their design, and Nomad is one of our favorite brands precisely for this reason. Their products are not limited to offering us the best technical specifications, they also take care of many details to mark the differences with the rest of the market. It’s true that you have to pay for it, but there are times when it’s worth it. We take care of all the details of our office, the entrance to the house or the bedroom but then we place a gadget with a more than questionable design, it doesn’t make much sense, right? That’s why when we talk about this Stand One Max We can’t just focus on how it works, we also need to talk about how it fits into any room.
Materials such as metal and glass were used in its manufacture, and Nomad opted for two colors that never clash: black or white. The glossy finish offered by the glass slab of our iPhone’s loading space gives a lot of elegance to the base, and the combination with the matte black of the base is really successful. In the black base (the one in this article) the metal parts of the base are finished in a very dark gray, almost black, while in the white base the finish is anodized gray. But in addition, these materials used are used to give weight to the assembly which gives it stability and allows the iPhone to be put in and taken out with one hand without the base moving a millimeter.
Of course, the technical specifications are the best we can currently find for our iPhone, using the Qi2 standard with 15W fast charging. This standard is compatible with all iPhones since the iPhone 12, but also with other Android phones which may also be compatible, so we can recharge smartphones from other brands if necessary. The Apple Watch charging slot is exclusive to the Apple Watch, it does not work with other brands because although it uses wireless charging, it is not standard. Yes indeed, It has fast charging (5W) compatible with Apple Watch Series 7 and all Ultra models.
The AirPods charging slot with wireless charging case works with any model with wireless charging, even with other compatible earphones from other brands, this is a charging position standard 5 W wireless. It is placed just behind the space for the Apple Watch, which makes maximum use of the space of the base, which is very compact, but it has a disadvantage: If you wear Apple Watch with the band closed or use a buckle band that can’t be opened, you won’t be able to attach the earbuds.. As I charge the AirPods once a week, this is not a problem for me, it more than compensates for the fact that it is a base that takes up little space on my table. Regardless, with most of the straps I own there are no problems. You also can’t put the watch’s charging disc horizontally, it’s not a moving part.
Nomad also thought about the iPhone’s camera module which protrudes when not using a case, so the iPhone’s charging disk is raised so that no matter which model you’re using, whatever either its size, does not touch the camera module with the base, and it is also easier to remove because you can hold the iPhone perfectly. Of course it works with cases provided they are MagSafe, the magnetic grip is very strong, there is no risk of it falling. Another detail is the Support for StandBy mode, which lets you turn your iPhone horizontally so you can use it as a desk or nightstand clock

Available in black and white, it fits wherever you place it. The only downside is that the 30W charger you need to operate is not included. Despite this, it is worth what it costs.
