The new iOS 14 OCR feature will let you know what you are writing with the Apple Pencil

The news on iOS 14 is next, and today we get a feature specifically designed for IP and Apple Pencil specifically: IOS 14 has the ability to see everything we write using the Apple Pencil, converts handwritten text into typed text.

According to information published by MacRumors, iOS 14 (specifically iPadOS equivalent to iPad) will feature a new feature, Pencil, that will work anywhere in the system where text can be inserted. Whenever you touch that field with an Apple Pencil a floating window will appear where you can write with a pencil Apple and the system will recognize that handwritten text by passing it to standard text. So far the system accepts text we write with the Apple Pencil within a note request, but it does not translate into typed text, but we use that information when searching.

In addition to this text recognition, we can also use Apple's pencil to draw shapes and the program will recognize and place them in the desired position. So, when we draw a square we won't have to pay much attention to make it normal or 90 degrees because the system will know and confirm that it is a normal square shape

, which will greatly enhance the use of the Apple Pencil with our iPad. So far these functions can be seen in apps like GoodNotes, but not within the system. The fact that Apple is using them means developers can easily add in their applications.

This new feature joins others that already told you, as it may mouse and track support across the system, not within the scope of accessibility as it is currently being launched, with new features for the Apple Watch and watOS 7.
