If last year’s Realme GT Neo 3 was launched with the most powerful fast charge at the moment, 150W, this year, barring any last-minute surprises, the company intends to repeat the game. Realme GT Neo 5 will launch 240W fast chargingand we already know its date of presentation.
We won’t have to wait long to meet the first mobile to support 240W fast charging: the presentation has been set for the next Thursday 9 February at 2:00 p.m. local time in China, 7:00 a.m. in Europe.

After Realme GT Neo 3, the Realme GT Neo 4 will not arrive, but Realme GT Neo 5. The presentation of the terminal will arrive already next week and, as usual, we already have confirmed data from the company itself.
Of these data, the most important is in its load which, barring last-minute surprises, will be the fastest fast charge of the moment: 240W. We have a few details of it, including a custom cable to support 12 amps, a dual GaN charger, and a complex security and refrigeration system.
The system appears to take advantage of OPPO’s 240W charging patent which we heard about last year and which, a year later, is finally coming to fruition in a device for sale. For now, Realme hasn’t shared many more details about other aspects of the terminal, although the leaks they give us a good idea of what to expect.
According to these leaks, the Realme GT Neo 5 would arrive in two versions, one with 150W load and one with 240W load and it would have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 inside and a maximum version with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

Other leaked details of the terminal tell us about a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a 50-megapixel triple camera, stereo speakers and Android 13 as standard. As on previous occasions, there would be differences in battery size in the different charging versions: 5000 mAh battery with 150 W charging or 4,600mAh with 240W charging.
We will be able to confirm all these details very soon. The Realme GT Neo 5 will be official next Thursday February 9 with a presentation in China. We will then know all its details and also its prices.
