The Samsung accessory you need if you are without any idea is more reduced than ever

Almost a year and a half ago, Samsung presented what is for the moment his latest model of Geolocation labelSamsung Galaxy Smarttag 2. This device has been designed to be able to locate practically all the objects or animals of the company thanks to its connectivity systems. It was Samsung's response to Apple Airtags, launched in 2021 and was a success.

This second generation has not yet planned a renovation And its price has dropped over the time of the 39.99 dollars which cost its launch at 24.99 dollars for which you can buy now. Of course, it is not available in white, only in black.

The operation is as simple as it is effective. We just have to synchronize it with our Samsung SmartThings account And we can locate it thanks to the connection with the mobiles of Samsung. It is important to note that this label does not have its own GPS, so it depends on the fact that there are nearby compatible devices.

However, this will always give us the last location in which it was with us, so it will be possible to search for it even if we are far from people or that we are 100 meters. We can ring it, And even guide us step by step if our mobile has an integrated UWB chipAs is the case in more and ultra models of galaxy S, for example.

One of the advantages of this model is that it uses a battery and allows you not to have to change it for over a year. Samsung underlines that it has an autonomy of around 500 daysAnd according to our tests, it is a fairly realistic figure, although something can vary. In addition, with IP67 resistance, we can wet it without major problems, in case we put it on a dog and that it enters a river, for example.

One of the differences in this label in relation to the others is that It has a button that serves as a trigger for any action in SmartThings, Samsung's basic application. For example, we can press it to light the lights of the house.

In addition, By including an NFC label, we can allow it to be scanned And that the person who does it gets our data, for example the name and the telephone, so that he contacts us and returns the object to which he was linked. This accessory is one of the most useful that we can use on an up -to -date day baseTo locate the keys of the car, the car itself, a suitcase if we travel a lot, the backpack, a bag or our pet if we do not always carry it equally. And for less than 25 dollars, it is worth it.
