Gboard, as Google’s keyboard app is called, is the most used keyboard on Android and is installed by default on most phones that use the operating system. This is not surprising, since It’s one of the best there is on the market and downloadable from Europe.
It has such interesting functions as the possibility of writing by sliding, using a large clipboard or even choosing the size it occupies. Now the company is preparing a new function that could arrive and which would allow locate a cancel button on the keyboard
However, thanks to a little trick, it is possible to use this button before the American company adds it to the keyboard in its stable version. The key is to use Google’s method of swapping keyboard layouts between multiple languages.
How to put the Cancel button
In word processors such as Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or Google Docs always includes an option to undo the last action
In order to have this button on the Google keyboard, you must go to the application settings by clicking on the Settings button which appears in the top bar. Once there, simply click on Languages and add Japanese as a secondary language, as it has a built-in cancel button.
After activating it, all you have to do is click on the change language button, at the bottom left of the keyboard. When Japanese appears, the Cancel button will appear in the upper left cornerwhich will restore the last change made to the entered text.
This option can be used a large number of times, so it can be used to restore many previous edits and it can be very useful for recovering text that was written and deleted by mistake.
