Although the ideal is to use headphones to properly listen to multimedia content on your mobile phone, there are many occasions in which the device’s speaker may be necessary to listen to any type of multimedia. In Europe it is not exactly one of the main sections that users consult before buying, but it never hurts to have a good audio system on the phone.
However, if the speakers are not too powerful, there is a risk of that ambient noise can completely dull the experience
This is a feature called adaptive sound, available on Google phones, and uses the microphone to learn the best way to use the speaker. All this, in a completely private way and without any type of audio coming out of the mobile.
Improve the sound quality of your Android
When playing multimedia content or even listening to audio received on WhatsApp or Telegram, the experience offered by a smartphone’s speaker system is not always the best, and there are times when a small adjustment can be essential when it comes to improving audio quality.
Google’s Adaptive Sound option specifically seeks to intelligently improve quality based on the ambient noise existing at any given time. This is done by using the microphone to assess the acoustics nearby and then adjusting the equalizer settings based on the environment.
This is an option that can be activated in Settings, in the Sound and vibration section, and which will cause certain values of the device’s speakers to be automatically adjusted to offer users the best type of audio depending on the noise present.
Depending on the notice that appears next to the switch to enable this setting, this automatic enhancement may be less noticeable with the volume at maximum. This is a process carried out in complete safety, since the audio recorded to analyze ambient noise is processed on the device and automatically deleted.
