Multicast is coming to Google Chat
Yes, since Google launched Google Chat in 2018 – formerly known as Hangouts Chat – the messaging client did not allow to select more than one image or video when we were going to send a message, which required us to send a message for each photo or video that we wanted to share.
With the new version of this September whose update began to arrive in stages since last September 15, this finally solves this, and from a single message we can send multiple photos and videos with Google Chat.
More precisely, we can send up to 20 photos and videos at once from Google Chat in a message. Now from the media selector we can select multiple files at the same time. To do this, just do a long press on the first element and then touch the rest of the images and videos to share.
That’s not the only news Google Chat is getting these days. In the web version, the smart answers in englishFrench and Portuguese so that you can quickly reply to certain messages with a simple mouse click, without having to type.
