The arrival of the administration on our mobile phones is gaining applications to facilitate procedures, now even with Social Security: the new application first allows access to consultation of professional life, payment of debts to the Treasury or register as self-employed. It is now available on the Google Play Store.
Accessing the website from your phone and entering an administration via secure access does not involve too many complications, it is not for nothing that mobile browsers are more than capable of loading content and facilitating procedures. Despite having a adapted application This represents another step in simplicity; especially with examples such as My Citizen Folder, Appointment or miDGT. The new Social Security application follows the same path.
The Importass Social Security portal in the form of an application
In 2021, the treasury centralized all procedures and requests in a web access portal: Importass. From there, it became much easier to consult the data stored in Social Security or to carry out procedures that previously required going to the offices. The next step is now complete: Moving Importass from Web to Mobile App.
The interface design is minimalist, with as few icons as possible and with an access and segmentation style reminiscent of the Tax Agency application. White backgrounds, blue and yellow accent colors, easily readable information and an access system that requires the usual secure identification methods: Cl@ve, digital certificate and SMS.
Most of the procedures performed through the importas portal on the web can also be performed through the app. For example:
- View and download the work life report.
- View and modify personal data recorded in the treasury.
- Everything about unpaid Social Security debts. Pay them, report them, request payment reports…
- Register and cancel self-employment. In addition to checking receipts or simulating self-employment expenses.
The app makes it easier to access the Importass portal, even though it is still the website embedded in a mobile app
To access the Importass Social Security app, you need to download it from Google Play and log in with a valid authentication method (we used the digital certificate). Based on our experience with the software, the app is easy to useoffers accessible and clear data, allows you to enter a good number of procedures in a few clicks and we did not find any execution problems.
