February is generally a busy month for the mobile phone industry, especially in Europe. The reason for this is the celebration of the MWC in Barcelona, an event that this year will not take place, at least the month it is usually held.
Despite this, the brands have not stopped the cascade of presentations and if yesterday we attended the event in which Xiaomi announced its Xiaomi Mi 11 internationally, today we know when the Redmi k40, which could be seen in Europe as the Xiaomi MI 11T.
The K40 will be presented at the end of February
An image posted on Chinese social media indicates that the 25th of this month
A Redmi K40 should be announced but also a Pro model, the Redmi K40 Pro, at least the latter would have a 2K screen, similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 11.
Xiaomi Redmi K40 is official: first features
Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the new Redmi K40 as well as its processor and the price it will have, lower than expected.
What we know about the Redmi K40
A lot of the features of these models have been disclosed, starting with the use of the 2K display as we said. In addition, the Pro model is expected to use the Snapdragon 888 and the normal K40 to go for a Qualcomm 7 series processor or a Mediatek model, surely the Dimensity 1200. From the cameras we only know that the Pro would be a 108 Mpx Sensor.
It is also said that they could come without a charger, although that would be something to consider in China. We say this because the Xiaomi Mi 11 went on sale with and without a charger at the same price, but during the presentation in Europe we knew that in our country it will always come with the appropriate charger. Presumably the same would happen with the Redmi K40.
Redmi K40 Pro: filtered features in detail
All specifications have been leaked for the new Redmi K40 Pro, a top of the line with features never before seen in this company.
The supposed starting price of the Redmi K4 was also released in early January, 2,999 yuan, around 380 dollars per change, although this price is valid in China.
Finally, it is possible that these models will arrive under the Xiaomi brand, as T variants of the Xiaomi Mi 11, which we have seen previously in the predecessors of these Redmi.
