Photographer Andrew Levitt presents his own wallpaper for macOS!
The launch of MacOS Monterey It came with several official wallpapers that Apple usually includes, this time abstract. However, the users from previous editions they missed one of the most classic wallpaper presentations, which usually represents an actual image of the Californian location from which the name of the new software was inspired.

MacOS abstract wallpaper could be inspired by Monterey Canyon.
Photographer Andrew Levitt and his friends, known for recreating macOS backgrounds from previous editions, decided to make their own Monterey landscape wallpaper for users. The abstract wallpaper Apple introduced this year is inspired by a local submerged cannon, which makes it almost impossible to take pictures there, but clearly this group has found an alternative.
The work of this group lasted several hours. So after finding a breathtaking view, at the apple, they camped out all day to photograph the change of day.

The end result is available for free on Levitt’s website. You can choose between a static version and a dynamic version which changes depending on the time of day. This second option follows the tradition followed by Apple in the last three versions of macOS, the creation of wallpapers was dynamic.
