Luxury airline Beond has announced Apple Vision Pro as its new in-flight entertainment system
Apple Vision Pro will offer an immersive experience on board the planes of luxury airline Beond, based in the Maldives. According to the press release, the company’s president and CEO, Tero Taskila, indicated that it would be the first to offer this type of in-flight entertainment to certain passengers.
Those from Cupertino will have an important exhibition with passengers of the Beond airline
This type of experience essentially consists of preparing amazing images. It will be waiting for passengers before arriving in the Maldives. It will show tourist destinations and activities that can be done in that place. This is a step in the vision of offering a premium travel experience to customers according to Tero Taskila.
This will be one of the most appreciated distinctions of the airline since until now no other has thought of offering this type of entertainment. Remember that there is a travel mode in visionOS which allows you to stabilize images inside a plane. For example, watching a film on an immersive virtual screen will be entirely possible without any alteration brought by the natural movements of an aircraft.
Apple’s innovative experienceas they defined it in Beyond, will arrive in July 2024; it will therefore not be implemented immediately. Flights that could be potential candidates to include this experience that they leave from Munich, Zurich and Riyadh. They also plan to include flights from Milan, Dubai and Bangkok.
Does this development represent the acceptance of Apple Vision Pro as an important means of entertainment?
The novelty announced by the airline represents everything Apple would like to see in the short term. Adopting an entertainment system like Apple Vision Pro in a safe environment will make the people of Cupertino very happy. Also It will allow users of the said airline to try Apple Vision Pro for the first time and be convinced of a new technological milestone..
What other companies could join us in integrating Apple Vision Pro into their experiences? This type of movements could add several points to Cupertino in the battle for acceptance of the use of a new technological product that has been the subject of criticism of all kinds, including from users who were considering returning their glasses .
