Apple’s advertising style inspires everyone!
For years, Apple has been a prime example when it comes to talking about impactful marketing actions. In addition to the advertisements, everyone remembers the Keynotes featuring the incomparable Steve Jobs and so many other examples can attest to this statement. But like everything, even the most famous company in the world is not exempt from its detractors, and who believe that these types of strategies are already overdone and redundant.
So videos that take inspiration from what gave Apple so much recognition to criticize it have become increasingly popular. And it ceased to be something of the competition. Example, YouTuber Joma Tech dedicated his own parody to Apple with the video “if Apple made blinds…”which we share below.
bad or good but they talk
Within eight minutes of the video, Joma as Jobsdoes everything to make Blinder 2.0 a necessity we didn’t know we had.
In the first half of the video Joma Tech pokes fun at Apple style by offering something as mundane as a set of blinds too expensive.
In the other half, is inspired by the style of one of the most famous CEOs in the world to talk about the low environmental impact of products and other explanations that the company is proud of and that probably won’t make a difference to most users.
This parody of Apple may make some viewers laugh, but ultimately it’s a critique of a style that has made a difference for decades, without anyone else approaching him.
For years, Apple’s competitors have used the same resource in their advertisements. A few months ago, Google parodied the style of product introduction videos that former Apple design chief Jony Ive used in a video describing the design of the Pixel 5a’s headphone jack.
A little over a year ago, Epic Games wanted to use the famous Macintosh 1984 advertisement to their advantage, to expose Apple’s alleged monopoly, which ended in a legal battle in which such an accusation was dismissed. .
Of course, the giants Samsung and Windows have been tempted on more than one occasion, without Apple ever responding. Apparently from the bitten apple they simply prefer to think that they speak well or badly but that they speak…
