Straps, protective cases and pads are part of the proposal!
It’s a new device and it’s not yet on the market, but that hasn’t stopped third-party developers from starting to design accessories for Apple’s mixed reality headset. The first known company to take a chance on these designs was Casetifycon the creation of the Bounce Vision line dedicated to the Apple Vision Pro.
Bounce Vision by Casetify includes headbands, protective bumpers for the external screen, neck straps and ear cups. Based on previous accessories development experience for other Apple devices, Casetify is known for providing professional grade drop protection.
Protection, comfort and style for the Vision Pro
The offer also includes customization options so that users can choose from a variety of colors and designs or upload their own designs.
Regarding the output, Wes Ng, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Casetify he claimed:
At Casetify, we believe in the power of creativity and individuality, especially when it comes to product design. Our platform gives users the ability to fully customize accessories for their tech devices, allowing them to stand out effortlessly, this time with Apple Vision Pro. With many customization options at their fingertips, customers can create accessories that authentically reflect your personality and style when using your latest Apple device.”
While no pricing or other details of Casetify’s proposal have been released, it’s likely that these straps will end up being the cheaper alternative to the grip-enhancing strap than the Vision Pro, which Apple says will be sold separately, similar to the Zeiss prescription lenses for people with low vision, which will bump the original price up another $3,499.
Everyone works for the debut of the Apple Vision Pro
Alongside accessory makers, third-party developers also shared the first images this week of what their apps would look like in the mixed reality environment available on Apple Vision Pro. The results reveal interesting and fun possibilities that Apple has come up with and more and more details of which are becoming known, such as offering different environments, the visual search function that will allow you to interact with text in the real world and work on it.
The expectation for the official launch of the Apple Vision Pro in early 2024 is growing. Although it is not a device that everyone can afford, it is the starting point for the arrival of more accessible options that should be known in the future, the next few years.
