Google’s OS is, in my opinion, the best for those of us who like to mess around on our TV, but if what you want is access to Netflix, Atresplayer and nothing else because you get involved, its interface is not the clearest and simplest in the world. I struggled to find an ideal smartphone to give to my parents and then I had to install a launcher for the elderly and with their smart TV with Android TV I had to do the same: download a simple launcher for tv ideal for seniors.
Luckily, I found one of the best adult launcher on Google Play Store: Basic Launcher. It’s free, it works well and to tell the truth, the only downside I can put is that it’s in English and not in Spanish, but the reality is that you don’t need to read anything to use it. All you have to do is download it, install it, give it the relevant permissions and minimal configuration, but it has its trick.
Basic TV Launcher Setup Step by Step
Below these lines you can see the appearance of Basic TV Launcher, an interface that virtually eliminates all distractions by focusing everything on applications. SO, the background becomes completely gray and with almost no message. In the upper area is access to the voice assistant and settings as is (it does not have a simplified menu, but they are the same as those of Android TV).

Thus, by pressing the Home button on the remote control that takes us to the main menu of Android TV, it is possible to choose the factory launcher or the one that we have installed.
