Do you want to have an alternative to the radio when you have to wait in the car? If you have Android Auto, there is an application with which you can watch TNT channels on the car screen: you will have access to thousands of live broadcasts. This, yes, as long as the car is parkedThe app cannot be used while driving.
It’s not that the car is the best place to watch TV, although that all changes if you’re parked for a long time. For example, if you have an electric car and you have to park next to the charger for a long time: a solution like that of IPcarTV
Perfect for watching TV while you wait in the car
If you have a screen bigger than your phone, and a sound system to enhance the experience, why not take advantage of it? This is exactly what Android Auto allows: by installing IPcarTV you will have an application with which watch any TNT channel. It’s very simple to configure, completely legal and carries no risk. Of course, remember that you should only use it when the car is parked.
To carry out the process, we will use the IPTV list of TDT channels, a playlist of channels updated with notable frequency. We need an app installer for Android Auto, like AAStore. And the application that does the magic of moving the television from the cell phone to the car: IPcarTV. Once you have all the tools, it’s time to start the process.
- Go to the TDT Channels website, we will use its excellent channel list. You have it here.
- Scroll down to the m3u8 link in the IPTV list and copy it.
- It’s time to install AAStore, it’s an open source application that is responsible for installing unauthorized applications on Android Auto. Download it from their GitHub.
- Install the downloaded APK, open it and search for “IPcarTV”.
- Install IPcarTV: you will need to allow the installation of unknown applications on your Android.
- Open the newly installed app, click on “Playlist & Favorite Channels Manager” and click on the “+” at the bottom.
- Name the list. For example “TDT”.
- Click “Next” and paste the IPTV listing link you copied from GitHub.
- You already have it ready. Now connect your phone to your car with Android Auto and you will see the IPcarTV app on the console. From there, you can access any free TNT channel.
IPcarTV works rather well according to our tests: the transmission is stable, reading takes up almost the entire surface of the screen Except for Android Auto shortcuts and channel selection, although a bit bulky, it allows direct access to any broadcast.
Remember that You should only use the app in your car if it is properly parked: IPcarTV is not suitable for use on the go. Otherwise, it’s a good app to have just in case. For example, while you’re waiting for the kids to get out of school or for the person you met for the weekend.
