With the next tvOS update, Apple should fix a problem that has persisted for years!
For better or for worse, we have become accustomed to immediacy. And especially when using digital services, this is a basic requirement for an optimal experience. Unfortunately, for users of AppleTVit is a debt that those of the bitten apple could not honor.
Apple has been offering movies on iTunes since 2006 and since then many users have purchased a large number of titles. However, When uploading content to the library, the process typically takes a minute or more. Although the situation was muted for a while, due to the advent of the Apple TV app and Siri search, the underlying issue still persists.
Apple TV is not friendly for all users
To clarify what most users thought, but for their own peace preferred to ignore, a user decided to share their experience via a Twitter threadgenerating hundreds of feedback from users with the same experience. Apple TV enthusiast and Screen Times editor Sigmund Judge shows how the Apple TV app running on an Apple TV 4K takes almost 40 seconds to fill its library tab with 3,200 movies.
Apple TV fandom, where did it start? For me and millions like me, the answer is 2006 with the introduction of iTunes 7 and movie purchases.
16 years later, after building up significant collections, Apple’s most loyal TV customers have a problem. Library tab hangs on Apple TV hardware… pic.twitter.com/jGntUIRJVL

To clarify his point, Judge then shows how other platforms with the Apple TV app load the Library tab. A) Yes, Roku Stick 4K, Playstation, Amazon Fire, Google Chromecast and others loaded the tab instantly.
After submitting the issue a few months ago with no fix in sight, I thought I’d see how popular third-party platforms fared when loading my library through Apple TV.

But, whenever the Apple TV app is forcibly closed and reopened, the library tab needs to be reloaded from scratch. This behavior is odd, especially given Apple TV’s larger internal storage offering, now with a maximum of 128GB.
Although the judge made his point, he still the cause of this problem is unknown. For the moment, Apple should offer a fix in future updates. This can probably come with the launch of tvOS in June this year, June during WWDC.
