The color proposal for the new iMac has been one of the most talked about news about the computer redesign. It was certainly inevitable to compare this recent launch with the colorful 1997 iMac G1s and Apple’s return to that trend. Therefore, for many, it makes sense to think of the possibility of thinking about other computers, such as the Colorful MacBook Air, as happened with the original iBook.
Apple released the first 3 MacBooks with M1 last November, and while they kept the existing designs, they were new on the inside. Although there have been many theories regarding posting without external changes, this could be the year to appeal to those who yearn to see a more fun computer
The MacBook Air in the colors of the iMac 2021
The concept posted on 9to5mac suggests a very precise design of what the MacBook Air might look like. The concept is inspired by the same tones of the iMac 2021, and the first render confirms that it would be a great move from Apple. According to Parker Ortolani, creator of the concept:
“The colors Apple offered on the original iBook differed from those used in the iMac, so naturally I think the MacBook Air would get its own set of colors that are somewhat similar. You can have a larger screen of 13.5 “or even 14”, depending on how thin the glasses are. I would also love for them to be uniform everywhere like the iPad Pro. I really want them to remove the product name text below the screen if they want to keep the Apple logo on the iMac chin. “
The new MacBook Air with M1 is an absolute hit. It’s one of the best products Apple sells right now, and it’s the best consumer laptop on the market right now. But since this new iMac is so radically different, It’s hard not to imagine all the ways Apple can give us a more fun experience.
