Whether you have a Mac mini or a MacBook, a good mouse is always an important part of any setup. And today’s deal gets you one that will look amazing on your desk: Amazon is selling a SteelSeries Prime+ Esports FPS 18K CPI Wired Optical Mouse with five programmable buttons and nifty RGB lighting for $23, a savings of $57 over MSRP and way below usual. price.
The mouse is ultra-lightweight with an ergonomic “Esport Pro” design that was developed in collaboration with “over 100 professionals for sustained comfort and agility in the most demanding levels of FPS gaming.” But even if you’re not a gamer, you’ll appreciate its minimal aesthetic and subtle RGB lighting on the scroll wheel.
When it comes to technology, this mouse has a ton of it considering its low price:
- Optical magnetic switch: The Prestige OM switch’s unique design leverages neodymium magnets to deliver the most consistent crisp clicks (at least 100 million to be exact)
- TrueMove Pro+ optical gaming sensor: True 1-to-1 tracking, 18,000 CPI, 450 IPS, 50G acceleration, tilt tracking and customizable secondary liftoff sensor.
- Complete customization on board: Software-free customization of all polling rates, RGB, lift-off distance and CPI settings.
- Super Mesh Micro-USB Cable: The all-new soft microfiber mesh cable provides less drag and a lightweight feel for small and large sweeps.
- Integrated OLED screen: A monochrome screen below the mouse shows the current IPC and other parameters at a glance.
Just note that this mouse has a USB-A connector, so you’ll need a USB-A to USB-C adapter to use it with a MacBook or iMac M1/M3.
