After a break for the Christmas holidays, we resumed our weekly summary of what’s new on Apple TV + with news of premieres, signings, trailers and rumors about the platform’s current and future catalog. This week is busy (you just need to see the free promotion extension), so let’s get going.
The second seasons of the star catalog series are coming
First of all, we have a new ‘For All Mankind’ Season Two Trailer
We have also ‘Cherry’ trailer, the movie starring Tom Holland in which he plays someone with his messy life who decides to enlist in the US military. It’s directed by the Russo Brothers (responsible for several of the most important films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and we’ll be able to see it on TV + starting March 12.
By making us aware of future content, we have on the table a new film that will combine comedy and science fiction hand in hand with the Hollywood Reporter. It’s a project by Andy Samberg, Ben Stiller and Noah Hawley that will benefit from an idea from the creator of the fantastic ‘Bojack Horseman’.
Another movie that has been Apple TV + is ‘Musette’, a movie in which we will see Joaquin Phoenix play Napoleon. Ridley Scott will be the director, and we’ll have to be patient because production won’t start until 2022.
Finally, from Deadline we know that Oprah Winfrey Keeps Signing Up For More Content at Apple. This time around, we’ll go from a book club and talk show to a two-part biography in documentary format. At the moment, no release date is planned.
